At first glance, it will seem to you that the charged Skoda Octavia RS looks aggressive and under the hood there is a serious powerful engine, which Skoda engineers have been saying for so long. But do not rely on the huge potential of characteristics.
While Skoda's engineers and designers are trying to charge the car even more, it's too early to talk about competition. Information has leaked to the network that this model can compete with the BMW 330d, but this is not the case. First of all, because the weight of the Octavia RS is greater than that of the competitor, and secondly, the engine under the hood is a diesel TDI with a volume of 2 liters. capable of producing only 184 horses. As a result, the Skoda acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h will take about 8 seconds, which cannot be compared with the BMW 330d.
It's funny to say, but even a small Ford Fiesta ST can show the best results with such characteristics, although the engineers in no way claim that their charged car claims to compete with someone.
For comparison, the already proven model Audi RS3 was also taken. Here, the test results also showed that Skoda engineers missed out on many small details to improve power.

First of all, the charged Skoda Octavia RS was installed on the famous light-alloy golden wheels BBS RX-R from Volkswagen, size 235/30 R20. The test drive showed 7.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h, which is much more than the original model. With the addition, a sports bumper was installed with a splitter at the bottom, two sports skirts on the sides. Changes were also added to the Skoda Octavia RS suspension changes, the KW sports shock absorbers slightly underestimated the car. Such changes really charged Skoda Octavia RS, and in terms of parameters it will compete with VW Golf R and Volkswagen CC as already well-known charged cars.
