If we talk about the appearance of the new crossover Fav Besturn X40, outwardly it reminds many of the latest generation of Mazda SUVs. Similar body features, part shapes and characteristics. Looking at the new FAW Besturn X40 from the front, you really remember the new generation Mazda CX-5. There are several reasons, firstly, the narrow optics with a wider outer part, and secondly, the radiator grill has got a flattened shape, and the crossover hood has acquired aggressive features.

Despite modern developments, the optics of the new crossover are only halogen; there is no talk of an LED version yet. The radiator grille received horizontal chrome inserts with a corporate logo in the center. No less aggression to the Fav Besturn X40 crossover is given by the front bumper, from the optics to the middle there is a wavy line.

The very bottom of the bumper was decorated with an additional grille, a pair of foglights and additional protection in the center of the bumper. Finally, the hood adds aggressiveness to the Besturn X40 crossover, as in the Mazda CX-5, the central part is raised, and sharp bends stretch from the grille to the front struts.

The side of the FAW Besturn X40 looks no less attractive. At first glance, it is hard to say that the car is made in China, since many of the details are thought out to perfection, especially the ratio of the size of the rims to the car body. For the entire length of the crossover, along the side, the designers have extended a sharp line.

Flattened wheel arches, branded door handles and a black plastic trim around the perimeter of the car turned out quite well on the side of the crossover. Side mirrors Besturn X40 will not surprise you with special characteristics, rather there is a standard set, LED turn signal repeaters, electric adjustment and heating.

The basic equipment will receive a solid version with a pair of roof rails for attaching an additional trunk and an antenna in the form of a shark fin. The other two configurations will get an electric sunroof. Having examined the exterior of the crossover, it's hard to say that this is a Chinese car, although the rear part needs some work. Otherwise, the new Besturn X40 looks stylish and modern.

Below is added a USB port for recharging and a 12V outlet. From the usual parts of the tunnel, you can note the transmission lever, mechanical handbrake and armrest. As they say, everything is simple and tasteful. Despite the budget class of the car, there are pluses. The seats of the new FAW Besturn X40 are excellent. Soft, comfortable, adjustable (including the second row). The front seats, depending on the configuration, can be mechanically or electrically adjustable. In the case of mechanical adjustment - the standard forward / backward directions and backrest, but if the electrical adjustment is involved, it will be possible to set the seating height.

The technical characteristics of the new FAW Besturn X40 2019 will not surprise much, the Chinese manufacturer decided not to deviate from generally accepted rules. There is no choice for engines, only one gasoline unit, two transmission options are available (mechanics and automatic).

With such a set, it becomes clear that the drive of the new FAW Besturn X40 will only be front-wheel drive. No four-wheel drive version should be expected.

I would like more variety in units, as well as the appearance of all-wheel drive. According to the owners, it was such moments that completely diversified and covered the need for a compact crossover.
